We use techniques and machines from Dermato-Functional Physiotherapy exclusively for a personal care, attentive to the minimum details as well as the safety and quality patterns.
Postoperative care is not limited to the skin. It is mandatory to watch all affected structures. This is the reason why we also take care of the reestablishment of all neurological, circulatory, muscular and sensory recovery.
RESTORING THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM
Effective treatment program using manual therapy and machines based on the stages of the process of inflammation and repair.
ACUTE INFLAMMATION
Cryotherapy is used to reduce bleeding, edema and pain through the PRICE principle: Protection, Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. We use both manual therapy and modern equipment.
STRETCHING AND FLEXIBILITY
Our techniques allow skin and muscle stretching and flexibility, restoring functionality to the tissue involved in the process.
ECCHYMOSIS AND HEMATOMA
We use high power ultrasound and electrotherapy associated with specified active principles for a satisfactory solution on ecchymosis and hematoma.
PREVENTION OF VASCULAR COMPLICATIONS
We perform stimulation to the vascular repair to avoid ischemia in the areas surgically manipulated, in the bony prominences, phlebitis or thromboembolic events.
MUSCLE STRENGTHENING
Neuromuscular electrical stimulation through electrotherapy equipment associated with high power ultrasound adds to the physiotherapy program to restore strength, muscle mass and proprioception.
SURGICAL WOUND DEHISCENCE
During postoperative it is highly important to release the tension between the incisions to avoid surgical wound dehiscence. We use electrotherapy and photostimulation to soften the healing process.
ADHERENCE AND FIBROSIS
Manual therapy leads to continuous and long tension, “organizing” collagen deposits, making the tissue more elastic and without retraction to prevent and treat fibrosis and adherences.
EDEMS
To remove excessive interstitial edema, we use specific techniques to allow mechanical obstruction release. We let the lymphatic vessels clear for drainage.
HEALING
We use manual therapy and specific active principles associated to machines to prevent and treat scar alterations in size, color and texture.
